History

Brennan is from a pureblood family. All of them witches or wizards. At the age of 10, his mother disappeared. Although, he’s not sure where she went. But when she disappeared his father fell to pieces and put his sister into a muggle foster home. So he was alone. No more mother and no more twin sister. So he left. Ran was more like it. Became a conman and the magic came in handy. Until he went to Hogwarts he was living with his best friend, Jesse Kilmartin.

Ever since being at Hogwarts, he hasn’t had any problems with running or the conman way of life. He’s not exactly a very talkative person and probably won’t until he’s comfortable around the people. Especially ones he doesn’t even know.

Also there’s a slight thing where he has a fear. Only he knows what it is. No one else does. He masks that part of himself rather well.


[Because of him being an elemental mutant in Mutant X and because this is AU, Brennan doesn’t have the powers of electricity like TM Brennan does.]

Meg's also from a family of grifters. They're still active though. ;) They're a generation or two away from the caravan. So, a step up from the Travellers, but not a very big step.

So is Brian, Irish in the AU, or of Irish descent living in England?

LMAO I saw my mistake and fixed it actually. And I don't think I've seen any John Cusack movies. I don't think.

As for Brenny, I'm not sure. I'd probably go with the England thing. Just where in England is beyond me. lol

Which I doubt will happen when Bren doesn't really have family anymore. If he went away it would only be to see his friend, Jesse. Because he has no clue where his twin sister is at. Doubt he ever will.

Oh well that's a relief! Cass was suddenly trying to think of how she would have dealt with 5 years of students being 'zapped' in a place that doesn't have electric power, especially when she hardly knows what it is having not even spent much time in the muggle world since electricity was discovered/invented etc. LOL

And being a 6th year, do you have any ideas of some 'history' of things he might have done, or been up to, especially that would involve him ending up in the infirmary need treatment?

Yeah, I keep tellin' him that but he keeps insisting that I screwed up his DNA now.

And hmm... nope. I don't. Tryin' to come up with something like that would make my brain hurt. LOL Because he's not in Quiddich so that wouldn't get him put in the infirmary.

Only thing Bren is good for is getting into fights. LOL I really don't know. That's a very good question.

Plenty of other things to help him end up there, like taking on the Whomping Willow, teasing the squid when it hadn't been fed, and not quite quick enough to escape something it lobbed at him? A unicorn kick to the body somewhere, if he wasn't paying attention during COMC class, or of course any number of hexes that he could try that might have backfired.

Gawd, it's a wonder any of these kids survive now when I come to think about it....
